We are a small, family winery blessed with loyal followers, and, as such, do not typically have a lot of wine to sell. The best way to purchase our wine is to join our Friends of the Vineyard Program where, as a Member, you will receive the new wine releases twice a year and can customize shipments. We do sell small amounts to interested people outside of the program based on inventory.
If your are interested in any of these wines or becoming a member please contact us for availability at 1-707-965-9177 or email ronh@haberwine.com.
Dark and muscular in character, aromas of brown sugar and tobacco lead the charge, followed by sweet spice, black fruit, wet stones, and cocoa tannins. Toasty oak frames the fruit, a palate full of anise, black cherry, and blackberry flavors. We suggest enjoying it with decanting and over the next 5 years.
An extreme windstorm on Sunday night October 8th, coupled with downed power lines, led to fires that ravaged the north coast for weeks. The fires for us were a serious risk and concern, threatening us from every cardinal direction, but we were spared direct impact. Many friends and valley neighbors were less fortunate, losing homes, businesses, and vineyards to the fires. Our community has recovered in the years following, ready as ever to offer our hospitality and the products of our remarkable landscape to the world.

A wine of velvety sensuous darkness from winemaker Tim Milos. The aromas are of ripe black fruit and sweet spices. The palate unfolds in sumptuous layers of velvety chocolate, black raspberry preserves, and dark chocolate ganache, creamy, rich, fruit sweet but not sugary (yes, I’m also describing a semisweet chocolate gateau, because that’s what it tastes like in the best way). It continues to develop with brambly blackberry flavors wrapped in cocoa laced with nutmeg, anise, and clove. The palate is hugely dense and smooth, but the abundant mountain tannins are sweet and smooth. Glorious now, our wines have yet to fade in the 15 years of crafting them. This should drink beautifully over the next decade or longer.

A classic California Chardonnay from acclaimed winemaker Tim Milos, the wine balances ripe pear and citrus fruit with layers of toasted brioche, spice, and a creamy palate. Long aging integrates the flavors of oak and lees into that of grilled hazelnut, delicate toastiness, cashews and crème brûlée layered with candied citrus zest, Asian pears, and the scent of chamomile tea. Round and generous on the palate, it finishes with a bright refreshing minerality. While we enjoy our Chardonnay over the first year or two after release, the wine will drink well for 5 years or more.
