Current Friends of the Vineyard Releases:
2023 Haber Howell Mountain Cabernet Sauvignon
Aromas of sweet spices, ripe black raspberries and blackberries are followed by scents of tobacco leaf, sweet herbs, and espresso. On the palate, red, blue, and black fruits are joined by English walnut and cocoa nib, all transported by balanced acidity and dense, still youthful tannins. This beautiful wine is easily enjoyed over the next few years with decanting, and we expect it to develop for decades to come.
$195.00/bottle

2022 Diamond Mountain Cabernet Sauvignon
At first taste you slip into the heart of darkness: blackberry, black cherry, dark chocolate, boysenberry, and sweet spice embrace the senses. Dense, rich, intense sweet fruit, are held together by supple tannin, scented with tarragon and black cassis. As the wine opens, it seduces with layer after layer of dark fruit, dark chocolate, and rich textures. This wine drinks gorgeously with decanting, but will evolve for decades for those who resist the temptation to drink it now.

2022 Oakville Ranch Cabernet Sauvignon
Concentrated aromas of boysenberry, sweet spices, and dark chocolate lift from the glass at first pour. On the palate the wine is bright and fresh, revealing layers of red cherry, bergamot, red currant, dried flowers, tea, sugar cookie, and mocha. The palate is textured and complete, the natural acidity and subtle dusty tannins providing tension and backbone. The wine ends with hints of cedar, cinnamon, clove, red currants and tea. The wine is approachable now with decanting, and we expect this wine to unfold and develop over the next decade or more.

2021 Reflections Cabernet Sauvignon
pre-release
Our 2021 Reflections cuvée is a barrel selection from our four vineyard sources: two on Diamond Mountain, one on the eastern slopes of Oakville, and our three blocks on the Howell Mountain estate. For the first time in a Reflections blend, every vineyard block and all ten clones we source are represented. Barrels or fractions of barrels were individually selected after 20 months, then combined and aged another 9 months before bottling. Our Howell Mountain brings refined tannins, and dried flowers, currants and cranberries. The Diamond Mountain brings savory sage, pipe tobacco, mint chocolate, blackberries and heft, while Oakville brings more cherries, black raspberries, and cedar, pencil lead, toasted walnuts, fresh acidity, and supple power and complexity. Long aging provides integration of the vanilla, cola, mocha and allspice from the wood, and fine-grained cocoa powder tannins. Drink over the next decade or two, and while enjoyable now, it will want decanting first for the next few years.
$285 / Bottle
2023 Haber Sonoma Coast Chardonnay
The wine opens with notes of toasted almonds, amoretti cookie, and grilled brioche, scented by tangerine oil, Meyer lemon, and fresh pear. The palate is rich with ripe fruit and fully integrated oak, and round from long maturation on the lees, but remains fresh and bright through the long finish. The wine’s vibrant fruit and refreshing acidity makes this a versatile wine with or without accompaniment.
$75 / Bottle
2023 Foreplay Red Wine
A beautiful blend of three varietals which are Cabernet, Cabernet Franc, and Petit Verdot. A fun, food-friendly wine that pairs well with spicy dishes and Italian pasta favorites.
